We will be taking two ski lifts to get to Zephyr Lodge, our ceremony site. Both trips are about 8 minutes in length. You depart from Big Springs Express Gondola at 9001 Northstar Dr, Truckee, CA 96161 (next to Bourbon Pub) between 3:00-3:30 PM (please be on time!).

The first ride will be all enclosed gondolas, and then you’ll transfer to a second lift, the Tahoe Zephyr Express, which has an option to take either a traditional ski lift or an enclosed gondola. There will be people there to help make sure you’re headed to the right place. Bring your phone/camera - it’s a beautiful ride up!

Unfortunately, due to capacity restrictions at the venue, only those listed on your invitation/on your RSVP page are invited to attend the ceremony and reception. We hope you take this as an opportunity to let loose and enjoy the festivities!

You are more than welcome to bring children to our welcome dinner at Sand Harbor, though, if they’ll be joining you for the weekend!

Yes! There will be an open bar at the cocktail hour/reception. Please keep in mind that the wedding takes place at altitude (8,000+ feet), which means the alcohol will be a little more potent than at sea level. Please party and have a good time, but stay hydrated and plan your rides back to your hotel accordingly.

FRIDAY: Attire is casual for our Friday night pizza dinner at the beach. Seriously, even if you're coming straight from the airport or a hike or a day at the beach, you're welcome to just come as you are!

SATURDAY: Dress to impress (summer semi-formal/cocktail) for our Saturday celebration; please feel free to embrace our outdoorsy, mountain-top vibe. Whether you're in heels or hiking boots (or Tevas or Chacos), we hope our guests look and feel their best! Let's just save the homemade jorts for another day (@ Dad).

Temperatures can drop once the sun sets, so we encourage you to bring an extra layer.

All we want is to celebrate with our loved ones, so your presence alone is enough of a gift!

Yes! You will not be held hostage at the top of the mountain for the duration of the wedding - don't worry. Should you want to head down before the party's over, just head back to the lift station and there will be someone there to help you. We hope you'll rally and join us for the afterparty at Wild Pine, though!
